My work is for the most part functional pottery.  My
goal as an artist is to make people aware to the
beauty of everyday things by attaching something
that is seen as beautiful or artistic to an everyday
item that is over looked or unappreciated.  It is my
hope that something as simple as presenting a
meal in one of my platters or baking a pie in one of
my pie plates will bring awareness to those things
that we do take for granted and facilitate appreciation
for everyday.
