3-D Mosaic Artworks
I have always been passionate about art in all its forms, and have had a lifelong interest in
creating beauty. My foray into mosaic began when I decided I could not abide looking at my
boring end tables any longer. I have a passion for color, and for the environment, and am
thoroughly disgusted with wastefulness and consumerism. So instead of replacing them, I
drew on my many years of home renovation and design experience to give them a new life. After
painting the first one with many bold colors and designs, I dove in and did a mosaic on the next
one. Loved it! From there, it was transforming bowling balls into mosaic yard art. (My husband
was afraid that if he was immobile for too long, I’d find him a viable candidate for a mosaic
transformation.) And then I became inspired to try to replicate some of the great art pieces,
especially from the Impressionist period, using my mosaic techniques. My art is constantly
evolving as I look forward to discovering new and innovative outlets for my creative expression.
