I learned to sew at a young age and for many years made garments,
and eventually taught clothing and textiles. I began to quilt about 20
years ago, doing more traditional pieces, but soon began to create
more of my own designs. I love the process of color selection from
my huge stash of fabrics and creating my own designs for wall
pieces. Color is very important to me in both my work (interior
design) and in my art. For me fiber is the right medium to work in
and I find it endlessly interesting and challenging.
