With a background in teaching Home Economics and a
specialty in textiles, I used a career in sewing and design
as a springboard into my current passion for hand
painted silk. I learned the art of Silk Painting while living
in England, and draw my inspiration from nature's
flowers and foliage. I love to share the beauty of working
with color in my pieces of wearable art, and encourage
women of all ages to find their creativity in designing and
accessorizing with hand-painted silk.
